  21. About the 3.0 InstallScript Update

  23. The "3.0 InstallScript Update" folder contains a new InstallScript for your FaxSTF 3.0 software.  If you have been getting a "System Error 28" and have been unable to install FaxSTF 3.0 on your Mac Plus, Mac SE, or Mac Classic, the new InstallScript should solve the problem.

  38. Installation

  40. The FaxSTF 3.0 InstallScript Update contains a replacement "InstallScript" document for your original "FaxSTF™ Installer" diskette.  This will permanently replace the original InstallScript on the diskette, so you should make a backup copy of the diskette before proceeding.

  42.         To install using the 3.0 InstallScript Update:

  44.                 1.  Insert your original "FaxSTF™ Installer" diskette into your Mac, making sure the diskette is unlocked (you should not be able to see through the lock-tab hole).

  46.                 2.        Drag the new InstallScript document which you downloaded to the FaxSTF™ Installer diskette.

  48.                 3.        Click "OK" to replace the older item when you see the warning that another (older or newer) item with the same name already exists on the diskette.

  50.                 4.        Double-click the Installer application on the FaxSTF™ Installer diskette to install FaxSTF™ 3.0 – after copying of the new InstallScript is completed.
